When launching UI, this is the message:

Please use the command line updater because updating via browser is disabled in your config.php.

I know that if I continue doing the update via web UI has the risk, that the request runs into a timeout and could cause data loss, but I have a backup and know how to restore my instance in case of a failure.\*\*[Upgrade via web on my own risk](https://64462cfcjbnduplvwdnqxm4erecctaffhnj7hsx7zt3frt5pkjt6lzyd.local/?IKnowThatThisIsABigInstanceAndTheUpdateRequestCouldRunIntoATimeoutAndHowToRestoreABackup=IAmSuperSureToDoThis)

Please help\*\*

There is a newer version of Nextcloud available 34.0.3:6.

The first thing I would try in your case is running the Action to “Disable Non-default Apps”.

Some Nextcloud apps are not 100% compatible with the StartOS version of Nextcloud and can cause trouble during updates.

Once that is done, try logging in once again and then attempt to update to the latest version of Nextcloud. This should always be done from the “Updates” tab in your StartOS Server UI.

Thank you, Alvaro.
Is this new version available for Start9 0.3.5~1? I am not on 0.4.0 and It will take some time before I can upgrade.

Keep in mind that StartOS 0351 is no longer maintained and only critical service safety updates will be published.

It is highly recommended for everyone to update as soon as they can to 040 by following this guide:
