Looks like I need to do this on my Intel NUC D54250. Will report back if so. But can I ask… Why Doesn’t Start9 automatically do this? Would there be any harm in it being done this way by default?

These are edge cases. StartOS is designed for, and tested only on specific devices that we sell. We are unaware of such problems on DIY devices until someone reports them. Such changes may be incorporated into a future release of StartOS.

This trick did help to get it boot on my MiniPC, but after every reboot is stuck on boot menu screen and does not go further unles I plug keyboard and press ENTER.
