Tor on 0.4.x won’t connect to my StartTunnel VPS (T-Mobile internet provider) unless I run

> `sudo ip link set wg0 mtu 1280`

The problem is when I reboot the server, the MTU goes back to 1420. Some of the things I have tried to make the change permanent:

1. sudo systemctl edit wg-quick@wg0
2. setting MTUBytes via /etc/systemd/network/10-wg0.link
3. setting mtu via /etc/udev/rules.d/10-mtu.rules

Any ideas appreciated.

you could install this toolset and setup a crown job every hour then to reset or even check MTU, problem is you need to re install it after an update but not every reboot. I am using this for automated backups. Below are the intrusctions for entering persistent mode if you dont want to use the tool itself

Feedback is greatly appreciated. Automating StartOS Backups with SSH and Cron This guide applies to StartOS 0.4.0. It is fully standalone: it does not install, require, or reference any third-party administration tool. Every step uses only what StartOS itself ships (SSH, start-cli, and cron) plus a root-only passw…

Are you running the latest versions of StartOS 0.4.1.1, Tor (Service) 0.4.9.15:0 and StartTunnel 1.5.0?
