Trust Certificate issue, unable to login

Hi I am a new user and although I have had success in the initial set up. A week later I am unable to access the local login from a Browser (i have gone through the Trust Cert Process on all Browsers (safari, firefox, brave) and added the certificate also to the browser settings) and still no luck.

I have deleted the old certificates in keychain and re uploaded a new certificate and toggled to always trust. I have restarted the computer, reset the server and followed all community steps, but alas no luck.

The local server is always found by the browser, but will not take me to the login in page.

Trusting the Root CA is about being able to access the https interfaces without a warning in the browser, it’s unrelated to “access” the server. To access the server, the server must be turned on, connected directly to the router, and access from another device also connected to the same router. You’ll then have an interface available at:

  1. https:// + two-words + .local
    OR
  2. http:// + start.local

If in doubt, get the IP address from the router and access it like so: i.e.:
3. https:// + 192.168.x.y
