Server One. Decided to uninstall Core and run knots. Upon uninstalling core, all my services have disappeared and I just have a blank screen. I have rebooted the server and there’s no change. Can I recover this somehow or do I need to consider the system rebuild option?
OK I think have fixed this so if anyone interested, after rebuild etc etc, just install knots and the services come back up. It wiped out my data so starting everything from scratch and downloading the blockchain. Utter pain in the ass but thats the recovery should you see it.
Glad you got it working. For anyone else, the procedure for switching is as follows:
Make sure you are on the latest version. You cannot upgrade/downgrade versions at the same time.
Once that is done,

In the StartOS System tab, click the “Manage” heading 5+ times to enable developer mode.

Click “Reinstall” on Knots in the Community Registry.

If you get a notification claiming the install failed. Don’t worry, it succeeded. You just need to open Knots config and click “Save”.
Knots is now installed instead of Core. There no need to resync, and all dependent services should be happy.
This also works the other way, of one wants to switch from Knots back to Core.
