Advice needed on NUC for StartOS

I am looking for some advice on a nuc. I have a Soyo mini pc m4 plus 2 (N150) with 16GB ram and 2TB vnme SSD. I run StartOS on it for a couple of days now and today it suddenly crashed. It stops responding. I can not access the UI or even ping the system on it’s IP.

I only ran Am I exposed, Bitcoin core, Fulctrum Mempool and tor. It ran fine for days. No issues. Indexing went ok. Fulcrum could build the index too. Then today I suddenly noticed that my mempool was over 1 hour behind. Core was stuck on the block and did not update anymore. Even after restarting it did not get new blocks. The system started to stop responding multiple times completely as I could see my pings stopped.

I believe it to be a hardware issue, as I used Umbrel before on this specific device and the same happened. I have been reading about the ethernet chipset not to be really wel known and that I could be a problem. Even adjusting bios settings with disabled secure boot did not help.

So, basically I am done with the system. I like the speed of N150 compared to my Pi4 Node. So I am looking for a new NUC. I have seen the Server One, but the price is a little out of my league. Do you guys here have any good advice for a Nuc that is stable and well supported by Start9?

I would check the RAM and SSD before ditching the PC.

I ditched Fulcrum and switched to Electrum. The system runs stable now over 24 hours. No issues. System temperature is also lower.

When running Fulcrum on Umbrel before I also had issues. Switching to Electrum seems to help. :crossed_fingers:
