After power outage and restart: Knots logs showing "ThreadRPCServer incorrect password attempt"

Running knots on a windows PC with DIY startOS.
I’ve gone through the Docs and done all of the recommended actions.
Uninstalled and reinstalled Bonjour.
Uninstalled and reinstalled knots.
Read the other threads in this forum on this log message and tried the suggested actions.

Not sure what to try now!

Errors and messages on the services on the server itself are unrelated to Bonjour or your client OS.

The message you’re seeing will be something left over from when you were running Core and switched. Knots clearly gave you a new RPC password, and one of your services that has Bitcoin Core/Knots as a dependency predates your switchover.

You’ll need to find out which on it is, open it in the StartOS dashboard, click Config, then hit Save without doing anything. This will allow it to fetch Bitcoin’s new password.

So I had tried that with only Electrs and Knots prior to recovering StartOS from flash.

After recover, started only Knots and wasn’t seeing the error.

Started Electrs and started seeing the error in Knots logs.

At this point, I saw your message and did the config save for every service :).

That did the trick.
