A couple months ago I did a swap and it worked fine however today the swap in/out page just keeps loading and showing the spinning symbol. The app is self hosted on my start9 and even did a restart but still not working. Any ideas on what else I could try?
I don’t have the answer for you directly. If Alby Hub is not showing any problems otherwise, which might indicate a problem on your server, you may want to review the upstream docs on swaps. This may provide some clues as to what might be going on, or what you might do to troubleshoot.
Same issue ! Since a coue of weeks I’m trying to swap but it doesn’t work. It’s frozen before to show qr code. Any idea ? Until last Alby upgrade it was working well
So I am not technically inclined as this is my first node and firs000000t time running alby hub and start9, but when bringing up this same issue on the alby hub discord channel, I was told the following.
“the root of the problem is a critical hash‑script malfunction within your Bitcoin Knots backend. This underlying error is preventing Alby Hub from properly reading and validating your on‑chain wallet data, which is why the swap interface remains stuck in a perpetual loading state. Until this hash‑script inconsistency is resolved at the node level, Alby Hub will be unable to initialize the swap process or communicate correctly with your wallet.”
Can anyone here tell me if this is correct and if so how I would be able to fix this? Thanks.
I’ve reinstalled Bicoin core and restart the system a couple of time. Unfortunately the item is not disappear.
Not sure if I understand your reply, you reinstalled bitcoin core and it did not fix the problem?
Yes ! The problem has started under Knots .. after almost 5 swaps well done .. yesterday I switch from Knots to Core (obviously without install entire blochain from 0) . But I can’t make a swap right now ![]()
yeah mine used to work as well, did a few swaps, now it doesn’t work.
Just want to point out that start9 registery in the marketplace has a new update for alby hub. Version 1.22.2 which was released May 25th. I’ve updated to this version and it fixed my swap in/out issue. Give the update a try and let me know if it worked for you as well.
