Alpha.10 bitcoind errors

Noticed my node said unreachable on Bitnodes. Checked settings in Knots, and saw my peer settings were empty/unset. I set them with default values and the service crashed and is unrepairable.

Any help would be appreciated. I don’t want to have to IBD again.

StartOS v040, in particular the alphas, are not supported and you install and test on non-production machines at your own risk.

That said, we appreciate people testing the alpha software, but the only place you should really be doing so is here with us: https://matrix.to/#/#dev-startos:matrix.start9labs.com

We’d like to see you share your error and your logs so we can look into it.

Ahh okay, makes sense. Thankfully my Synapse is still working.
I’m new to Matrix tho, I tried joining and get this message…

I have the Windows app and the Android app… neither accept my homeserver .onion url
Using Brave Tor browser, it accepted my homeserver url and logged me in but my options are very limited.

I replied to you (I think) elsewhere, but in case you’re a different person… your own instance of Synapse is not the best at federating (this would be fixed with 040), you’d be better off registering a throwaway matrix.org account for now.
