Always on TOR for outgoing connection?

Hi, do services use TOR by default for all outgoing connection ? If not, is it possible to enable that ? I know you can enable it with some services like the nodes, but what about Alby Hub for instance, if my LND node is TOR only, will Alby Hub go through TOR for all traffic not related to the local node ?

Thanks.

Each service uses TOR in the way that that service defines.

In the case of Alby Hub, there are connections both over Tor and clearnet I believe. But as I said, this is a per-service issue, and its best to review that service’s code or talk to that service’s developer.

OK, and is it possible to specify a network interface and or proxy for each services to force all outgoing connections to go through TOR for example ?

I suppose so, if you could work out a means to create such a proxy and implement it.

Probably easier to do such as thing at router level though.
