Back up power supply for Start 9

It seems almost every time my power goes out or fluctuates , I have to redownload Bitcoin Knots to fix things. I have a fast unlimited connection so I can do it overnight, but I am thinking I should buy an uninterruptible power supply (UPS).

I am a bit of a homebody, so if the power goes out I think it would buy me enough time to do a proper shutdown.

Thoughts?

If you can afford it, a UPS for a server is always a good idea (IMO).
However, having to redownload Knots seems super weird. Are you sure Knots not just updating the blocks you missed while the power was out?
