Backup to NAS fails on StartOS 0.4.0-beta.9

A few days ago I did a backup to my NAS and everything worked just fine, but when I try doing it now I get the error message RPC ERROR: Filesystem I/O Error mount exited with exit status: 4. I didn’t change any settings.

OS logs:

“USB_NAS” makes me think you have a USB plugged into your NAS. How that should work, what format it is, how your NAS has that shared, what issues your NAS might have would not be reflected on StartOS. StartOS can’t really know what’s wrong with your NAS, only that something is wrong with it based on its response. Maybe you NAS has error logs that can tell you more?

It’s just a USB stick plugged into my router for now. Not sure about the format, but it obviously worked for the backup before, so I’m not really sure why it doesn’t work now.

Doesn’t sound like a good idea at all, but I also don’t really know how to fix your router or what has made it stop working. It sounds silly I know, but, do whatever you did last time to make it work and start over?

Definitely don’t assume you’re backing up safely with cheap flash media.
