Bitaxe keeps reverting to fallback pool when used with Datum Gateway set for solo/loto mining

My Start9 server version is 0.4.0.1 so I am assuming that I don’t need SimpleProxy as the instructions for Datum Gateway specifically mentions that is required for version 0.3.5.1.

My Bitaxe configuration is as follows.
Pool Configuration:
-Stratum Host: 192.168.18.6 (my Start9 address)
-Stratum Port: 23334 (default as per Datum Gateway documentation) however, I did notice that Datum Gateway listening port is 23335
-User: My wallet address
-Password: ***** (12345)

Fallback Pool Configuration:
-Stratum Host: solo.ckpool.org
-Startum Port: 3333
-User: My wallet address
-Password: ***** (12345)

My Datum Gateway configuratio is as follows.
Config > Mining Settings > Bitcoin Address > My wallet address
Config > Datum > Pool Host > Blanked out / empty
Config > Datum > Collaborative reward sharing (pooled mining) > never (non-pooled only)

All dependencies (Bitcoin Knots) are satisfied and running.

Unfortunately, I keep getting the following warning on the Bitaxe, “Using fallback pool - Share stats reset. Check Pool Settings and / or reboot Device.”

I have tried restarting services on Start9 as well as the Bitaxe itself. I also tried both ports 23334 and 23335 when pointing my Bitaxe to the Start9 Datum Gateway.

Any suggestions on how I can get Bitaxe to use the Primary pool and stop it from reverting to the fallback pool?

There is no public release of StartOS v0.4.0, or Datum for v0.4.0 yet, anyone using either is essentially saying they are technically minded and willing to participate in testing hand in hand with us here: https://matrix.to/#/#dev-startos:matrix.start9labs.com

No, you won’t need SimplyProxy when v0.4.0 is ready.

The version of Datum Gateway is 0.4.0~1 and my Start9 version is actually 0.3.5~1.
If this translates to 0.3.5.1 for the Start9 version, I guess I will need to run SimpleProxy.

Datum Gateway documentation says:
"StartOS Version
Warning - using Datum-Gateway on StartOS v0.3.5.1 in a typical scenario requires making the service accessible over LAN via IP:Port. This requires tinkering with your StartOS server as most Bitcoin mining hardware cannot use mDNS.

If you feel comfortable doing that, follow the instructions for installing simpleproxy at the bottom of this document.

If you do not, you should wait for StartOS v0.3.6."

Issue resolved after installing SimpleProxy.

Thanks
