I have Knots and Datum on the server. Got the SSH key and proxy server just fine. Got the Bitaxe turned on and connected to wifi. The Bitaxe works perfectly fine when connected to Public Pool. When I change the stratum host to my server the Bitaxe stops hashing. I can see the fan running on Bitaxe website. Theres no connection on Datum either. I unplugged everything and restarted everything a dozen times. I switched my wifi setting to 2Ghz only. I flashed the Bitaxe several times too. What am I missing?
Perhaps the logs of Datum would show some kind of failed connection?
Perhaps you didn’t set up simpleproxy right for this particular use case?
Stu Pleb helped me get it working. The issue was that my copy and paste was not working on Datum Gateway instruction page, so I decided to copy the code by hand. I thought that I did it correctly because it still went through the remaining steps. StuPleb saw that there was not space between the letter C and a quotation in the code. He helped me do the edit. Everythings good.

I updated to Datum 4.0 and now my miners won’t hash towards Datum. Do I need to reinstall simpleproxy?
Simpleproxy sits outside the Datum Gateway service and so wouldn’t be affected by upgrades to the service.
It would not be impossible those that some setting in Config needs to be replaced, but you’re the only one who has reported anything like this.
Basically, go through all the things that aren’t installing simpleproxy, since that is already installed.
I seem to have this same problem…unable to copy and paste. I used the inspect option and copied the code through that. It all looks good but my NerdQaxe++ won’t connect. It mines fine to a public pool but I guess I’ve done something incorrectly in the setup of Datum.
You might need to paste the command you used here, so we can look for typos, which was Flack’s problem.
