Bitcoin Core version 27.1.0 is NOT compatible with Specter

need >=23.0.0 <27.0.0
How do I got back to an earlier version ?

Specter has been abandoned and is no longer maintained. Downgrading to much older versions of Bitcoin Core in order to use out of date software is not a good idea. You need to replace Specter with something better, such as Sparrow.

Thank you will do.
What version of Sparrow desktop do you recommend ?

(Intel/AMD) (Ubuntu/Debian)
Linux (Intel/AMD) (Redhat/CentOS)
Linux (Intel/AMD) Standalone
Linux (ARM64) (Ubuntu/Debian)
Linux (ARM64) (Redhat/CentOS)
Linux (ARM64) Standalone

Thank you for your help.

These are not choices you make on a whim… you choose the one for your distro and your processor architecture.

Ah ok that is independent of my Start9 Embassy machine, I got that right ?
The embassy is only running Bitcoin Core, the choice of implementation of sparrow desktop is tied to the computer (MacOS in my case actually) I will be using to connect to the Embassy.

If you are running MacOS, then you’d install Sparrow for MacOS.

You’d then follow these guides:
https://docs.start9.com/0.3.5.x/service-guides/bitcoin/bitcoin-integrations

You install Sparrow on your computer, and point it to your server to use as a backend.
