After updating to the latest version of Bitcoin Knots RDTS, it keeps getting stuck on “Syncing blocks…99.95%”. The logs contain warnings and errors.
Knots or Knots Pre-RDTS?
Knots. I already spoke with Start9 and they told me that my node is fine, but that I have peers on the Core side claiming there are more blocks. They are working on a fix and will release it soon.
Who did you speak to? The Bitcoin majority network is most definitely claiming to have found more blocks, one every approximately 10 minutes in fact. If you’re intent on running Bipcoin, then yes, hang tight until there’s a working Bipcoin network and updated node software.
I’m really worried that people don’t understand what’s happening here. It’s really hard to provide the information people need to know without sounding like we’re advocating for one or the other. Matt Hill did a better job than anyone else I’ve seen, in the regard.
