I’m running Start9 version 0.3.5.1 on a Pure Server. Initially had Bitcoin Core v 28 installed, then switched to Knots v 28, and was running with that fine for months. Now I tried to update Knots to 29.3.1 by simply hitting the Update button for the service. It started the update, then brought up a dialog to set the Configurations. I entered ‘rdts’ in the Consensus field and hit save. Since then the Knots service shows the status “Stopping this may take a while…” and it’s been stuck like that for over 2 hours. Also the Electrs v 0.11.1 has a warning icon and is status is stuck “Starting…” Do I just keep waiting? If not, how do I get this Knots update to complete?
Do you see anything in your logs? Any errors or additional information in there might be helpful. Other than that you can try going into settings again, changing nothing and just hitting Save, then restarting your server.
Didn’t find anything in the system error logs, but the Knots service showed an error saying install failed because of the config settings. So I reset them to defaults, updated a few, saved and restarted my server and that did the trick! Happily back up and running Knots, now with BIP-110! Thanks!!
