I followed the guide but when I enter in the hostname and port from electrs into my Blue Wallet and click save - it says that tor connections are not supported.
Running Blue Wallet on my mac. I’m trying to figure out how to connect a bitcoin wallet to Bitcoin Core. Any suggestions? Thanks,
Our guides were written for the mobile wallet, so it’s possible that the desktop client does not support Tor yet. This would be a question for the BlueWallet team - if you get an answer from them, please share it here so that we can let others know, and help push for Tor support.

I believe George had tested this out and it looks as though tor is not supported for Blue Wallet on the desktop. FYI…I’ll shoot Blue a message as well and let you know the response.

I recently started having issues with my android mobile Bluewallet connecting to my elctrum server over Tor. I uninstalled BlueWallet and now when i go back in to point BW to my elctrum server, it says cannot connect to the server.

Also check to see if your TOR connection is good by trying out start9’s link

That was it…I didn’t have Orbot installed and running. Which is weird, because BW was connecting successfully without Orbot up until a few days ago so not sure what changed. In any case, your suggestion worked so thank you for that.
