Your Github description says this is a “Major security and stability update for Start9” – Start9 is a company that produces StartOS, the company has no such issues. You ask for Start9 users to test… only StartOS has users. Not being pedantic, it’s just not clear given the question…
Is this for the now deprecated StartOS v0.3.5.1, or StartOS v0.4.0? Looks like its for v0.3.5.1 and no-one is going to be able to use it.
Are you in the StartOS packaging/dev communities?
Thanks for the feedback – I think there’s a misunderstanding here.
The “major security update” refers to BOLT12 Pay itself, not StartOS. I have just changed that in my github release text to make it more clear.
Regarding compatibility:
This release is built and tested on StartOS 0.3.5.1, which is still the current stable release.
StartOS 0.4.0 is still in beta and not rolled out as the default yet as far as i know(?), so this package is intentionally targeting the current stable user base.
I’m also active in the Start9 dev ecosystem ( maintaining Specter), and I do plan to support 0.4.0 once it becomes stable.
My start9 Test system on my Rasperry pi 8Gb still says startos version is up to date and does not refer depreciation anywhere…

Great addition. I’m also on the 0.4 beta though, so looking forward to testing the app when it becomes available.
Ok will try to make a 040 Version since now I see there seems to LND 0.20.1 beta available for 040 wich also means I probably won’t need a custom LND lightning app running. Let me try what I can do to make this work!
