[BTCPayServer] Did anyone manage to get LNURLs working? Seems impossible due to TOR restriction

I can setup donation links in BPS, the “pay button” feature.

However, when I try to scan the QR code with the ZEUS app, it says there is a network error.

I found almost no info about this issue online, but AI mentioned that this is not possible due to the nature of TOR not being able to forward a part of the requests apparently. Which could be the issue, as Zeus absolutely supports lnurls and it would work on-chain with zeus, just not with lightning invoices.

Would be nice if someone had a solution for that. Having a self hosted option for donations would be very nice for me, as I have some projects with donation links for me.

Clearnet features within services would be dependent entirely on clearnet features in the OS. StartOS v0.3.5.1 and prior are very much focused on privacy using Tor rather than public non-private uses over clearnet. Both will be options come v0.4.0.

There’s a guide I created in the guides section for proxying BTCPay, but it may just be more convenient for you to use v040 when it comes out as beta very soon.
