Once my node is fully synced, I would like to join a pool of miners to see if any of my devices can earn any type of coin (XMR in this case).
I looked on all three registries (Start9, community, and beta) but XMrig was not listed. Could it be added to the community registry?
It is possible for someone to package the service XMRig for StartOS.
You can post in: https://startos.fans/ and create an entry requesting it. Maybe if enough folks are interested some community member will look into it. Or you could package it yourself,.
Having said all that, I don’t think StartOS can leverage the GPU for mining, so this might not be very efficient mining usage.
