Cannot access File Browser or VaultWarden after system update installation

After running the Start9 updates, I am no longer able to connect to File Browser or Vault Warden. To avoid typos, I bookmarked the File Browser link. To make sure the link hadn’t changed after the updates, I tried launching File Browser directly from the Start9 server by clicking the Launch UI button.

The error I get is "We can’t connect to the server at … local "
I have tried from a different browser - no go.
I tried pinging the IP of the server and was able to do that. I knew I’d be able to since I could connect to the server itself.
I tried updating my DNS settings from Automatic to manual and used 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 - no change.
I logged in to my Dream Machine to make sure I could see the server and that it was up - I could see it and it’s up.

I suspect a DNS setting issue, but not sure and at this point not sure what else to change. Any other ideas?

I ended up resolving the issue by editing my local host file.

Yep, this isn’t an issue with the server, or anything related to updates. Rather, it is an issue with mDNS on the client, with the resolution being dependent on the OS. For Windows, it involves following our setup guides to install Bonjour.
