Can't access web interface

I’ve been running Server One with no issue. I tried to setup publicpool with the instructions to setup a proxy link, but after running the exit command I can’t access the web interface anymore.

I’ve tried doing ctrl+shift+R. I’ve try restarting my start9 multiple times. I can see the start9 on my router. I can ping it, but I’m unable to ssh (I get prompted for a password, but it should just work because I setup the SSH keys?)

I’ve connected an HDMI cable to view things and I see that it’s running startOS. I appreciate any help here. It’s been days and I can’t figure out how to resolve it

So eventually I saw the web interface on the hdmi output from the start9 and I was able to use a mouse and keyboard with it. I checked from laptop and I was able to access web interface. Not sure if something was actually wrong or on startup it can take a while for everything to get setup?

The most likely thing I can think of is a misstep in the public pool setup. I’d remove the mouse and monitor, restart the server and make sure you can access it and that everything is back to normal.

I had the start9 moved to my desk so I could hook it up to a mouse, keyboard, monitor and a separate router for testing. I removed the mouse, keyboard and monitor, reconnected my start9 to my main router and once again, I can’t connect to my start9.

I hadn’t changed anything with my main router recently, but that feels like it’s the only thing that would make sense as causing issues? I can ping the ip address for my start9 and I get a response. Do you have any idea what could be wrong in my setup?

Edit: I changed my routers and I was able to connect

I’ve had issues connecting to my start9 from my macbook pro. I was trying to access it using the Brave browser and even after taking all sorts of steps to remove protections, I still couldn’t access it. Eventually I used Firefox and that’s working fine. At least for most apps. I had to cut the main power in the house today and when I try and launch the Memepool UI, it brings up Strudels for NOSTR. Even with Strudels turned off and even after a restart of the server. Wasabi won’t start either, it keeps trying but nothing happens. So did you try and use another browser like Firefox or Chrome?

@minebtc With expensive computers that don’t have internal batteries (laptops) you don’t just cut power without shutting down properly.

That said, there’s no way to open Mempool and get NoStrudel. It’s not possible.

Anything you open probably needs to be hard refreshed…

Ctrl + Shift + R (Win/Lin)
Cmd + Shift + R (Mac)

Services not working on the server (i.e. errors in healthchecks/logs) are completely unrelated to the browser you’re using, and those issues would need to be tackled separately.

Thanks for the reply. I know it’s weird. I disinstalled Memepool and installed it again and that worked. Did the same with Bisq and Wasabi and that brings no change though. I tried refreshing as well as you suggested to no avail. It’s still a mystery to me why I’m having these issues while the services seem to be working for most other users. Regarding the browser, I was using Brave before and often couldn’t connect to Start9 besides my best efforts through shield down and allowing local connections. I’m using Firefox now and I have no issues.
