I have lost the trust relationship with my server. The reason is that the server has a system clock synchronization issue. This synchronization error appears to be affecting the trust relationship. Is it possible to synchronize and then re-establish the trust relationship? How do I synchronize it? I have already tried different methods, both from Firefox and Chromium. I still can connect via SSH.
Every help will be welcome. Thanks.
Best regards.
Typically this is a sign of a wider lack of connectivity to the internet. You might find services running on your server are failing to connect to the wider world, for example.
On occasion it can be specifically limited to Network Time Protocol (NTP) ports due to firewall configuration on your network/router. Make sure you are not blocking NTP.
It isn’t related to your browser or the Root CA.
Hi StuPleb. I sincerely appreciate your quick and detailed response. Just in case it might be relevant, here is what has happened: I have redirected my router to the servers: 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220, pool.ntp.org, and time.nist.gov. After that, I restarted it, but it doesn’t seem to have worked so far. I’m going to try restarting the server. I might need a different internet provider. Thank you again.
