I am trying to connect my Zeus mobile wallet to my LND lightning node using wireguard instead of tor. I have setup the wireguard tunnel and it is working fine but my LND Connect Rest URL is only showing tor and no local addresses to connect to.
Any ideas if this is possible?
The issue likely lies with trying to do mDNS aliasing over Wireguard. Our ‘clearnet’ groundwork is being laid now and we’ll have more connectivity options for you later this year. In the meantime, it may be possible to hack around this - please share your results

Wow, since March 2023 and this still has not been resolved!? Any update when we can expect clearnet on Start9? Even the simple and reliable Cloudflare tunnel method does not seem to work due to the same mDNS issue.
I see you posted in several places about 0.3.6. There is no official ETA but it is currently in Alpha testing.

Start9 is really limited in functionality without being able to expose apps or even LN to clearnet, and I’m trying to ascertain if it worth to keep waiting, or go ahead and make the effort to switch.
I can’t really offer a guess, but it is in late stage Alpha. It will move to beta and then official release. I can just say that the devs are working hard ASAP.
