I had a brief power cut and now I’m unable to access my Start9 via local network, and it seems the Start9 is unable to access some Internet resources. Nothing has changed about my physical setup, and nothing on the network as far as I can tell. I’m connected through an Eero router. I’ve restarted the whole network multiple times and have the Start9 connected to a TV so I can solve the issue. I see the following error messages when I run the UI on the TV:
- Clock sync failure. In the docs, it says to check I’m not blocking NTP and then contact support. I couldn’t find anything on Eero settings about NTP (and I haven’t changed anything since it was working). That’s why I’m here.
- When I try a software update, I see:
RPC ERROR: Network Error error sending request for url (https://registry.start9.com//eos/v0/latest?… A VERY LONG URL): error trying to connect: dns error: failed to lookup address information: Name or service not known.
When I try to visit my .local URL, I see “Connecting” in the bottom left corner.
I’m looking for a pointer to see how I can get this thing back up and running ASAP. Thanks.
