Core lightning issues

I’ve had a channel that was forced closed by the other party, I can see my sats are now back in my core lightning wallet on chain but I can’t seem to withdraw them I keep on getting an error of “Could not afford all using all 0 available UTXOs: all short”
I’m new to lightning. It’s a P2WSH utxo I’ve tried sweeping in ride the lightning and same error. what do I need to do to get my sats back?

It all likelihood the funds are still reserved or time-locked and you’d just need to wait a little while, especially if these was a recent event.

Though the error you mentioned seems to suggest the funds in question, the UTXO is too small to send. I often find the errors difficult to remember the meanings by heart. Perhaps more information about the UTXO would help.

If literally an error… that CLN has reserved the funds erroneously… then entering into the CLN container… and…

lightning-cli listfunds
lightning-cli listchaintxns

would provide more information. Restarting CLN might release the UTXO.

If the timelock is over, the wallet should automatically sweep the funds or is this something I’d have to do manually?

And when I look at the CVS document from ride the lightning the reserved to block keeps on changing to a higher block after the original block has passed.

You’re right, that has been confirmed and 0194 7928 sats are sitting in an address you (I suppose) own. They should be detected and spendable.

Some reasons why the might not be…

i) This lightning node is a reused one from after a prior backup restore.
ii) Some kind of issue with CLN (CLN → Actions → Rescan might help)

Anything more can only be known for sure by asking CLN directly in the command line, rather than asking RTL to ask CLN for us.

I did backup this node and have deleted and restored it back still not able to send funds… I have also rescanned the core lightning blocks and still nothing.

Do I need to run LND when I’m using RTL and core lightning?

Apologies, I had LND on my mind.

Only think left to do now is to look at the command line options, or to reach out to Core Lightning. If you’re a Start9 customer, you might be able to get a little more guidance here.

how do I look at the command line options?
