I just tried updating StartOS and the applications to the lastest versions as of today (Sept 29, 2024), but the Bitcoin Core got stuck. After about 8 hours I tried rebooting the machine from the interface. I’m trying to log in, but I’m getting
“RPC ERROR: Server is in Diagnostic Mode auth.login is not available on the Diagnostic API”
I have no idea what to do next. Please help!
You can access the diag screen by directing your browser to start.loacl instead of the usual server name. Start by rebooting your server from diagnostic mode. If it stays in diagnostic mode, try a server rebuild. Unless your hardware is failing, your data is safe.
