Disable Secure Boot in BIOS settings

Hi all, I recently received my Pure Server with StartOS and everything runs smooth as expected. Brilliant peace of tech.

I’m thinking of using proxmox on this device and have StartOS on top in a VM. Seems the BIOS settings is forced to verify the ISO signature on the USB stick. Is there a BIOS/firmware setting to disable secure boot? I cannot find the option, please.

Thanks.

You’re able to source and flash any firmware you like if you’d prefer not to use Coreboot/Pureboot, but you’d be losing one of the key benefits of this hardware, the disabling of potential Intel security holes.

You can find documentation on the firmware here:

proxmox supports secure boot since version 8.1, so you should be fine with it enabled. If you use the proxmox .iso and install from scratch it should all be automatic as far as i remember.

See: Host Bootloader - Proxmox VE (it is mentioned under “Secure Boot”: ,Any new installation of Proxmox VE will automatically have all of the above packages included.‘’

Thanks for pointing to. I will check and read.

Thanks. Tons of docs to read
