Error msg Upgrading from Core to Knots is Prohibited

I am not getting the option to Reinstall, why?

You can only “reinstall” the same version. So if you want Bitcoin Knots 28.1.0~2, you need to make sure Bitcoin Core is on 28.1.0~2 before you switch.
