Hardware Issue in a new Start9-CMOS Battery Suspected

Dear Start9 Team and Advanced Users,
My Start9 always loses the correct date and timezone after reboot, and the clock resets to year 2936.
It shows “System clock synchronized: no” but “NTP service: active” and also shows the correct time. Correct hour, minute, and second after reboot too.
This looks like a CMOS/RTC battery issue (disconnected or defective).
Could you confirm and advise?
Thanks.

It’s a reasonable guess. It should only really be the case if unplugged though. There’s an easy way to find out… replace the battery.
