How do I safely eject/remove an external SSD drive?

Hi - I recently acquired your Server Pure and have successfully created backups using an SSD connected directly to the server via USB. However I don’t want to keep the drive permanently attached, so how do I safely remove the drive? I couldn’t see an option in the UI to eject it and have searched through other threads but couldn’t find an answer.

Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hi there.

Glad to hear you’re enjoying your Server Pure. Once the backup completes you can just unplug the drive from the USB port. It is automatically disconnected once the backup ends so, there is no harm in you doing this.
