How to sideload fedimint or add as a service in marketplace?

Does anyone have any advice or tips/tricks on how I can sideload fedimint onto my startOS?

Fedimint appears to be in the process of being packaged for StartOS by a community member. It looks like it will still have to wait until the release of the upcoming version of StartOS 0.3.6.

You can sideload any packaged service (.s9pk file) by going to System → Manage → Sideload a Service.

NOTE: There are a number of services that require 0.3.6 features before their packaging can be completed.

Is there an expected date for the release of StartOS 0.3.6?

No. Sorry. We release first, announce date second.

How can I know if I were to package a .s9pk file for a sideload if it will or will not work with StartOS 0.3.6?

Packaging it would be a coding process a developer would engage in to make a piece of software run in StartOS, as opposed to say, Windows.

When I sideload a service on start9 will it not show up in the Services section of StartOS? Ill just have to interact with the app via CLI?

You would interact with the app the way the package developer designed it to be interacted with. Those parameters are part of the packaging process. What service do you intend to side load into your system?

At present no other services Im looking around for things. I tried Remote the other day but I uninstalled it.

I tried for 7 hours with Grok to package an app called Change Detection but eventually gave up.
