Hello, first post here. I’ve got a 2TB Server One and I’d like to transfer everything to a new 2026 4TB Server One. Should I be following the guide at Start9 | Transfer Data to a New Drive or is there a different method with 0.4.0? The 2TB server is working great I just want to upgrade to a device with more ram and storage. I appreciate any help.
Hi, what version of StartOS are you currently running on the Server One? Are you on 0351 or on 040?
Have you already installed any services, if so what are they?
Turns out the new Server One I just received won’t actually power on so I’m dead in the water on my original issue. But I’m running 0.4.0 beta-7 with Knots + Bip110, core lightning, datum gateway, file browser, fulcrum, mempool, public pool, ride the lightning, tor, vaultwarden, and one other service I’m building.
As for the powering on problem, any ideas on what I should do there? When I plug in the new server the power light comes on for about 4 seconds and then shuts off completely. I can’t find it on start.local either.
Since you purchased a Server One from us, you have access to our private support server here: Start9 Me - Private Support Server Go ahead and post in there and our team will take care of anything that is going on with that new server.
I actually got the one that isn’t working from solosatoshi.com. Can I still post in the private support server?
