When i try to go to http://start.local it comes back that ‘’ This site can’t be reached "
Im on a windows desk top. I’m a noob, so this stuff is new territory for me.
I figured it out. I didn’t wait long enough for my new server to power up and do its thing . Once it was up and running http://start.local came up and I was able to proceed.
Glad you got it sorted. Please keep in mind that following set up, start.local will cease to exist, and you will only visit your unique-address.local (provided after setup, or in the System tab → About).

How do we find our unique address if we didn’t record it?
Visit your router user interface, find the server’s IP address, access StartOS with the browser using the IP address, then visit System → About.
