HTTPS required in Tor browser for accessing .onion Vaultwarden Vault

Hey folks

I’ve recently been unable to access my VW over my Tor browser on Android mobile. It states that all connections must be via HTTPS now. My start9 service only gives me an HTTP address.

Can you point me to a workaround please??

You’d edit the address in the browser and add the letter S.

If you’re referring to the fact this is not done by default when launched from the Launch button in StartOS… v040 is almost here.

Thanks Stu, I did try that but it refuses to connect with an unsecure error. This time I clicked advanced button, scrolled down and clicked the ‘accept risk and continue’ button and I’m in :+1:t3: What are there risks doing this?

Devices that you use to connect to your Server need to be set up to do so.

If this is an issue that you haven’t encountered previously, you might want to find a previous version.apk file for the android bitwarden app. The old app would accept tor links just fine with the regular orbot android set up.
