Installation issue on a new Meerkat9 due to x11 error

Decided to try and install StartOS on a new System76 Meerkat9. I am currently using an older meerkat 4 with no issues.

I see the menu to choose Live Boot and select it. I then start to see the items loading and then it eventually dies into a slow loop with the details in my screenshot.

I reflashed my USB to the latest nonfree iso to make sure nothing was wrong with it. Something to do with X11. Wondering if maybe the install doesn’t support the Meer9 since it is so new. It uses Coreboot bios.

Any ideas?

I would seem StartOS is lacking a graphics driver. I’m sure more recent versions of Debian have this, so its likely that future releases of StartOS will to.

I’d disconnect the monitor and go through this process headless.

This worked for me. I had forgotten that I could do it this way as it had been a couple of years since I had done this process. Thanks for your help!
