I just unboxed my Start9 Server Pure 3 hours ago and could not get my T-mobile wireless router to see it. I then typed in the IP number that T-mobile had for my only ethernet connected device (my Start9) and I went directly to the start up page for Start9. The CA in my downloads simply says Quicktime cannot open it.
Question: Can I verify my CA later or does that set traps in front of me for later?

Hi Dave, should be OK to verify it later. I usually do it right away when setting up a new StartOS. Follow this guide Start9 | Trusting Your Root CA
Technically you could go your whole life without trusting the CA, but your experience is less pretty and full of annoying warnings.
I’d be more concerned that you were not able to access start.local and likely not the unique .local that was generated at the end of the set up process. That needs to work.
I loaded the Bitcoin Core - Success!
I loaded th4e Electrs - Success!
I loaded the Sparrow Wallet - Not so good. At the launch It is asking me for a Username and password from a site that looks like 10 BTC wallet addresses appended. The window where I type in USERNAME and PASSWORD doesn’t recognize anything. Is this my Start9 site password? I don’t thinbk I have one. When I could not access the Start9 startup I simply went to the Server Pure IP address. All went well for a while but you mentioned a unique.local generated at the end of my start up and I think my direct to IP route is backfiring on me. (?) Do I wipe it all clean and start again?
Hi there,
Congrats on getting Bitcoin and Electrs installed!
Regarding Sparrow Wallet, are you talking about the app installed on your StartOS server, or the standalone app on your computer? You should most likely connect your Sparrow Wallet (on your client device) to Electrs or Bitcoin Core using the standard setup guide, rather than running Sparrow as a StartOS service. The marketplace service is mainly for hot wallets running 24/7.
For accessing StartOS, go to System > About on your StartOS server to see available network interfaces. There’s no need to wipe anything if the server is already running.
Let me know what setup you’re using and I can provide more specific steps!
