sudo -i && /usr/lib/startos/scripts/chroot-and-upgrade
I could make a persistent state and then change the web gui password,
similar to the unofficial method that I read here to assign local LAN IP addresses to bitcoind and electrs?
I don’t know. You’re welcome to hack away as you wish, as long as you are willing to accept the responsibility and the consequences of doing so. If it doesn’t bork your system, you could post about it in our DIY community, where others may be interested.

It’s probably a lot easier to just follow the prescribed method.
