Here is a thread that made it possible for CLN. I move away from CLN, so therefore this question.
Or is LND on Start9 TOR only?

Everything on StartOS v0.3.5 is TOR only when it comes to inbound connections. Including CLN. What you are linking to is an unsupported hack. You might want to review the very last comment in that link.
Version 0.3.6 of StartOS is different, it allows for the optional exposure of services over clearnet, with the ability to forward ports from the router.
Thx for the response.
The hack is kinda supported, but not by LND. The only difference seems to be, that CLN doesn’t reset and use the config all the time upon restarts of the service, which prohibits that. Apart from that, it would work for both containers.
But ok, I guess there is no practical solution until v0.3.6 then, even with hacks.
I hear about this version since january and I hope it will soon be usable.
By the way: How can I “subscribe” to the 0.3.6 release announcement? I looked far but didn’t find a reliable news source.
Any tipps highly welcome, thanks!
Hi there!
Our support has transitioned from Telegram to a self-hosted Matrix server, which you can join here. This forum remains active, and when the next version of StartOS is released, you’ll find updates in both of these places.
HOLY SH…ttttt it’s $300 now?
Technically it’s free. Every customer has free life long support with the purchase of a server. For those who don’t have a Start9 Server… we try to help here in the forum, be we can’t know the ins and out of the systems you built yourself.
Nostr and Twitter are two good public facing non-interactive mediums.
