Is this spec ok for new mini-pc as Bitcoin node?

Before I spend my money, can anyone validate this spec for a mini-pc to become my Bitcoin node?

  • AMD Ryzen™ 7, Eight Core Processor 8845HS
  • 32GB PCS PRO SODIMM DDR5 4800MHz (1 x 32GB)
  • 2TB CORSAIR CORE XT MP600 NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD
Supplier is a trusted UK company - their mini-PC is an own brand called ‘Azena’. They have told me they cannot supply a LAN-only card, it comes with a
    WIRELESS REALTEK RTL8852BE Wi-Fi 6 + BT v5.2
There will be an ethernet port though.
Any thoughts? Anything more I should ask the supplier before committing?

Hi squarepeg!

Your mini-PC specs look great for running a Bitcoin node. The AMD Ryzen™ 7 processor, 32GB DDR5 RAM, and 2TB NVMe SSD are more than sufficient for both the Bitcoin Core blockchain and any additional services like Lightning or Electrum servers. The SSD size is particularly important, as the blockchain size continues to grow, and NVMe storage ensures fast read/write speeds.

Thanks h0mer! Really helpful. :grinning: :+1:

Is a graphics card required? I was assuming not but can you confirm?
