Hey it’s still beta9 after 2 month, what happened? You used to push out betas more or less weekly.

Is there something not working with beta9 that you’re hoping beta10 will fix, or did you just want to have a even number? If you’re asking if v040 is being scrapped, I’m not sure why you’d come to that conclusion.
Beta10 is probably a half dozen incremental increases, so the gap in periodic releases should mean its a more interesting upgrade for you. You should enjoy it.
