Hi, I have been using the Jam service and encountered an issue after reinstalling my node. After logging back into my Jam account, I noticed that all funds and transaction logs were missing.
I am confident that I am accessing the correct account, as I can still see the funds are still in my addresses from the mempool. However, the balance displayed in Sparrow Wallet and BlueWallet shows as zero.
Previously, I had five funds split into jars, with one allocated to a fidelity bond. At this point, I am unable to move any of the funds because both the Jam interface and other wallet UIs show a zero balance.
Could you please advise how to resolve this issue?
I still have the backup; however, when I reinstall using it, the system remains stuck in a “connecting” status and I am unable to perform any actions. That is why I proceeded with a brand new reinstallation.
The only time the word “connecting” is used in StartOS, is in relation to a web browser trying to connect to the server. Getting to that point suggests that the installation was successful and you needed to hard-refresh your web browser - not wipe the server data.
This is the browser window, on the client device, not being able to find the server in the location it was at when the screen was loaded.
It is 100% impossible to see this screen if the browser is refreshed properly, you’d instead see all the screen go away and instead get a browser error screen.
I’d probably go ahead and restore the server again to get your funds back, though you can also try restoring just Jam and Bitcoin to this new install for the same effect.
