I fixed the issue by reverting to the extension version 2026.6.1 (I’m using Firefox on Linux). Note I connect to Vaultwarden with the .local address. Questions:
- Will there be a fix for Start9 version 0.3.5-1?
- Is the Bitwarden android app also having issues?… I’m scared to open it and then lose the cached passwords.

We don’t expect to update any 0.3.5 services, at least at Start9, though enthusiasts are welcome to do so themselves if they want to stay on an older OS. I would expect many services will fall behind and may stop working or become open to exploits over time. All services on v040 are now several versions ahead of v035 equivalents.
I would not expect merely opening the Android app would do anything like wipe the locally sync’d passwords, but I also can’t test this for you.
