Sparrow on windows connects to my Start9 node. Specter on windows will not. Both were working fine on Ubuntu until 2025ish… I did a deep dive troubleshoot using A.I. and spent several hours but no luck getting these wallet coordinators to core RPC connect to Start9 from linux ubuntu. If anyone has some thoughts it is appreciated.
While you could always switch to an electrum server connection and enter your Electrs details, access to Core over LAN is great, I use that too.
If I were to take a guess, it’s because of the .local. You’re not the first person to report that in a very recent Ubuntu update mDNS/avahi stopped working in Ubuntu. Can you reach services .locals in a web browser?
