LND node will not recieve?

Hello, thank you for your help. I do not seem to be able to send lightning payments to my LND node. It has worked in the past, but it started having problems a few weeks ago.

I do have inbound liquidity. I have tried both options as far as including private routing tips, but neither has worked.

Any ideas?

To receive payments to your LND you need a few thingsā€¦

  1. Inbound liquidity
  2. Your peer(s) to have inbound liquidity
  3. Your invoices that you generate MUST have routing hints if channels are private
  4. Your TOR connection must be stable.

#2 is the only one you canā€™t really see or control. If youā€™re good with all the others, you might want make sure you have more than one channel.

I only have one channel and it is with Start9. I think my TOR connection is fine.

It might me #2 then. Iā€™d recommend having more than one channel, but before getting to that, perhaps you might want to share what the actual error is, how much you were trying to send and how much inbound you have.

Thank you for your help. When I try to send from outside sources, they pause for a few seconds and then say that a payment route cannot be found. I do have the ā€˜Include Private Channelsā€™ turned on with Thunderhub and ā€˜Private Routing Hintsā€™ on with RTL. I am only trying to receive 1000 SATS.

As far as ā€˜channel capacityā€™ my local balance with Start9 is about 19k SATS and my remote balance is about 430k SATS. My ā€˜Balance Scoreā€™ is 0.084.

Maybe I should restart everything? Or close the channel?

Did you get a new inbound channel to try?

I know that now. My bad.

I should have some time today. Ill see if I can open a new channel and maybe close the channel that isnā€™t working.

There being liquidity issues with peers of peers does not mean a channel isnā€™t working. I donā€™t expect anything needs to be closed. You need more routes, not fewer.
