Hello, thank you for your help. I do not seem to be able to send lightning payments to my LND node. It has worked in the past, but it started having problems a few weeks ago.
I do have inbound liquidity. I have tried both options as far as including private routing tips, but neither has worked.
Any ideas?
To receive payments to your LND you need a few things…
#2 is the only one you can’t really see or control. If you’re good with all the others, you might want make sure you have more than one channel.
I only have one channel and it is with Start9. I think my TOR connection is fine.
It might me #2 then. I’d recommend having more than one channel, but before getting to that, perhaps you might want to share what the actual error is, how much you were trying to send and how much inbound you have.
Thank you for your help. When I try to send from outside sources, they pause for a few seconds and then say that a payment route cannot be found. I do have the ‘Include Private Channels’ turned on with Thunderhub and ‘Private Routing Hints’ on with RTL. I am only trying to receive 1000 SATS.
As far as ‘channel capacity’ my local balance with Start9 is about 19k SATS and my remote balance is about 430k SATS. My ‘Balance Score’ is 0.084.
