LND not workings stuck looking for RPC. How do i fix? reinstalled, re downloaded and nothing

Is core healthy and running?
yes core is running fine
I don’t believe “looking for RPC” is an error that LND would display.
in the LND logs. there is a constant stream of notices “Waiting for bitcoin RPC…”
My bitcoin core is working fine. I reinstalled and updated core also. Not sure what else to do
If you’re uninstalling and reinstalling Bitcoin when LND has already been installed, then you’ll have a different RPC password afterwards and LND won’t be able to connect.
Open LND, click Config and then click Save.
ok, I saved the LND config setting. That didn’t fix the problem. Next I uninstalled LND, then restarted core, then saved core config, then downloaded LND and it’s back stuck searching for RPC.
It’s unlikely that individual services can’t talk to each other while StartOS is still functioning. Looks like significant issues or a significant misunderstanding. I’m not sure I’d be able to tell which without full logs and and idea of what hardware you’re running.
