Miningcore needed in StartOS in order to be able to mine and point hashrate directly to our own bitcoin node

We need miningcore on Startos so we can point our hashrate to our own bitcoin full node without having to rely on mining pools.

Any suggestion how I can add this miningcore to Startos Community section?

miningcore hasn’t been maintained for over 3 years, I would not recommend this.

public-pool (also a solo mining pool software), is available in the community registry for StartOS

it’s still a mainstream miningpool software used by many if not most miningpools, I thought that public-pool is just pointing our hashrate to public-pool’s node, we need to enable pointing hashrate directly to our own node, this is more sovereign way.

public-pool is fully self hosted. The one on http://web.public-pool.io/ is the hosted version, but when you install it on your own server, it only runs on and requires your own Bitcoin node.

I thought that publicpool send jobs to publicpool’s node, I’ll check it out.
