Monero node timed out

Hi,

I’ve recently started my Monero node. Everything was running smooth for the first day or so and syncing was going decently fast. However, the last 2 days or so it keeps giving me error timed out and the syncing goes SLOW. I understand it takes a few days to sync but I’ve gone from 70 to 74% in almost 2 days.
Checking at the resources, my machine is barely using any. Is there something I can do to improve this?

Your bottleneck is likely going to be Tor. Monero syncs over Tor by default, but you can change this (and expose your IP) by going to Monero → Config → Advanced → Tor and toggling off ‘Tor only’

I’m running this node remotely so I don’t mind to much about exposing the IP
