I installed Nextcloud on my DIY server. I downloaded and installed the *.crt certificate. So I assume that I’m working from a trusted machine. Still get the untrusted domain error…Why is that?
Further it is suggested to edit the config/config.php. Ok, I would happily do this but don’t know how to access it.
Would like to use my already installed file browser to do it but not able to find the config.php.
… well, I started NC, than I waited for HealthCheck OK and then at the right side I clicked on the square with the little arrow. Then the error-message shows up. (pls see above)
If this is a new installation of Nextcloud as it looks like from your first message, uninstalling and reinstalling the Nextcloud service should get you up and running.
When it comes to downloading and trusting your server’s RootCA, this is something that must be done on each and every device you will be using to access your server (PC, Phone, Tablet etc) by carefully following this guide.
This is not a StartOS config screen I recognize. Please tell me more about your setup, and how you got to this. What was your source for the Nextcloud you installed?
I’m on a Pi5 8Gb, internal nvme 2 Tb. For now I am still booting from SD. My USB drives are detected by Start9 as well as a network folder to backup to. *.crt properly installed.
But, all my registries were empty after installing 0.4.0 alpha 11. So there really was nothing I could do (test) with Start9.
The rest is standard procedure. I picked NC, installed it and ran into the untrusted domain issue.
It is mentioned in documentation to edit the config file of NC to add a trusted domain, but I’m not able to do it as the scope of my file browser does not offer to sucessfully navigate to open it. So I’m keen to learn how to do it…
